Cleaning windows usually ends up on the bottom of the list of the things to do around the house. But, even though the task must be done, it can be done in a manner that results in lessening the environmental and economical expense incurred when utilizing the standard commercial ammonia based window spray and roll of paper towels. Try a less expensive environmentally friendly approach instead.
Mix together an equal amount of white vinegar and water in a clean spray bottle. Gather two days worth of old newspapers. Spray the window with the vinegar solution and wipe dry with the newspaper. The result is a streak free clean window without experiencing the harshness of using an ammonia based product. Saving money, reducing chemical use and utilizing an item that can be recycled, it doesn't get better than that!
Note: If the smell of the vinegar solution is not appealing, try using lemon juice and water instead.
